Working with charcoal pencils....

A completely different media than I remembered. I really do love it, but it's so incredibly easy to overdo it. I love using the white charcoal though to highlight. Any studies I ever did in High School art class conveniently left this little beauty out so I'm glad to have discovered it! Here are my first two pieces drawn in years:

I look forward to creating more pieces with these pencils. The technique can be quite delicate and for once I love that!
